Leaders in rankings of the most expensive skyscrapers on the planet were not the highest of them.
International Database of the estate Emporis has ranked the most expensive skyscrapers. It ranked as high-rise buildings already built so under construction ones. Top 10 of the most expensive skyscraper was leaded by the World Trade Center 1WTC in New York, opened on November 3, 2014.., 13 years after 9/11. According to the Emporis, $ 3.9 billion was spent for it. The highest skyscraper in the world – is Dubai Burj Khalifa (828 meters) - built for $ 1.5 billion.
