Sumgayit Administrative-Economical Court

Sumgayit Administrative-Economical Court hears, within relevant territorial jurisdiction, economic cases arising between legal entities regardless of their management or other affiliation and subordination, and individuals who are engaged in an entrepreneurship activity without establishing a legal person and those who obtain the status of a private entrepreneur as determined by the law, and administrative disputes which arise between persons regardless of their legal status.

Establishment of Sumgayit Administrative-Economical Court

Sumgayit Local Economical Court was established in Sumgayit city by the Decree dated 19 January 2006 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the implementation of the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan “on Making amendments to some legislative acts of the Republic of Azerbaijan” and modernization of the judiciary in the Republic of Azerbaijan.The number of judges in the courts of the Republic of Azerbaijan was increased with the Decree dated 17 August 2006 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan on increasing the number of judges in the courts of the Republic of Azerbaijan and determination of the territorial jurisdiction of the courts, and 2 positions of judge were established in Sumgayit local economic court.

Bashirov Chingiz Adil was appointed the judge of Sumgayit local economic court with the Decree dated 28 July 2007 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.Bashirov Chingiz Adil was appointed the president of Sumgayit Local Economical Court with the Decree dated 07 August 2008 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and Mammadov Zaur I kram was appointed the judge of Sumgayit Local Economical court.
Sumgayit Administrative-Economical Court was established under Sumgayit local economic court in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated 15 July 2010 “on making amendments to the laws of the Republic of Azerbaijan” “on certain measures on improvement of the judiciary of the Republic of Azerbaijan”, “on Courts and Judges” and “on Judicial Legal Council”.

Bashirov Chingiz Adil and Mammadov Zaur I kram – judges of Sumgayit local economic court were appointed as judges to Sumgayit Administrative-Economical Court and Bashirov Chingiz Adil was appointed the president of Sumgayit Administrative-Economical Court in accordance with the decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated 13 December 2010 in connection with the establishment of administrative-economical courts.Jamilova Khayala Adil, Guliyev I smayil Rza and Pirverdiyev Zaur Rafig were appointed judges of Sumgayit Administrative-Economical Court in line with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated 26 October 2010 and the decree became effective on January 01, 2011.
