Beylagan (old Jdanov) District Court was established during the period when the judiciary was created in Azerbaijan SSR, and was previously called Jdanov district, but later its name was changed to Beylagan District Court.The total area of Beylagan district is 1131 sq km, and it has a population of 88.726. The geography of the district is mainly lowlands. The district is specialized in agriculture while other areas include cattle breeding, grain production and horticulture.
