21st Azerbaijan International Healthcare Exhibition BIHE 2015.

BIHE is the only exhibition in Azerbaijan that is a meeting place of professionals in the healthcare industry, offering an ideal platform for constructive dialogue, exchange of experience and the demonstration of new products and latest developments in medicine.

BIHE has been the launch pad into the Azerbaijani market for many companies. The exhibition includes a great number of additional events, including conferences and workshops with leading medical professionals.

Economy of Azerbaijan
In 2015, economic growth is expected to be 4.4% and GDP is predicted to reach 76 billion US dollars. GDP from the non-oil sector is expected to grow by 8.2% to 50 billion US dollars. It is expected that the non-oil sector will generate 65.1% of GDP, while the private sector will generate 83%.

The medical sector in Azerbaijan

• The state budget will allocate 992 million US dollars to the development of the healthcare sector in Azerbaijan in 2015;
• In order to further improve the management of public funds and ensure that costs are transparent, expenditure on medicines and dressing materials provided from the local city and district budgets will be reflected in the State’s Healthcare Budget as of 2015;
• The State Budget provided 267 million US dollars for the purchase of medicines and dressing materials;
• In 2014, Azerbaijan wasincluded in the rankings for the performance of national health systems put together annually by Bloomberg for the first time.
