We believe that high academic standards, dedicated teachers and outstanding resources are at the heart of the exceptionally fine and truly international educational experience here at TISA. Since its foundation in 1996, TISA has prepared students to be independent, lifelong learners and has developed in them the knowledge, problem-solving skills, values and concepts necessary for success.

Activity of TISA

We cater for a diverse student body of 2 to 18 year-olds representing over 40 nationalities, and we are proud to be part of a select group of only 140 schools worldwide offering all three International Baccalaureate courses: the Primary Years Programme, the Middle Years Programme and the Diploma Programme. Our examination results are impressive both for MYP and in the Diploma Programme, and our graduates enter some of the world’s leading universities.

Our purpose-built facilities are second to none in Baku: there are science laboratories, computer rooms and libraries, art rooms, music and drama areas, a design technology studio and resource areas as well as a gymnasium, canteen and hall; outdoor facilities include play areas, basketball courts and a sports field. TISA Mission Statement

The TISA Mission is to prepare students to become life-long learners and positive contributors to their local and global communities. TISA will prepare its students for the next stage of their education through a high quality, well-balanced educational programme. TISA will deliver its programme according to the universally recognised educational principles, practices and beliefs of the International Baccalaureate.
