Shakhbuz District Court hears cases related to civil, criminal, administrative offenses and other cases within the territory of Shakhbuz district as a court of first instance.Shahbuz district was created on 08 August 1930. It was abolished in 1963 and its territory was given to Nakhchivan (Babek since 1978) district. It became an independent district again in 1965. People’s Courts were established in Nakhchivan Autonomous SSR in accordance with the decision of Azerbaijan Central Executive Committee and People’s Commissars Council based on the Regulation “on Court structure” adopted on 23 August 1927. It was then when Shahbuz District People’s Court (presently Shahbuz district court) began to function.
