Sanovel, which produces at world standards without making any concessions to its principles and quality, was founded by Pharmacist Erol Toksöz.Having set up Ankara Galenos Pharmaceutical Warehouse in 1971, which is a step into the pharmaceutical industry, he purchased Adilna in 1982. He then established Sanovel in 1983. Having started its production life with 5 employees in Şişli 28 years ago, Sanovel today brings Turkish Pharmaceutical Sector to the future at these modern facilities with an indoor space of 59,000 m2, located on an area of 125,000 m2.

Having been founded nation-capitalized and having an experience of 28 years in the pharmaceutical industry, Sanovel is well-known for its dynamism and open-for-improvement structure and it also sets an example in the Turkish Pharmaceuticals Sector with its resources and investments in Research & Development studies.Having made a quick and stable improvement since its foundation, Sanovel is within the top 10 pharmaceutical companies regarding returns in the Turkish Pharmaceuticals Industry according to the data by IMS. Sanovel Pharmaceutical Industry's new production facility, first laid foundation at İstanbul Silivri Çantaköy on November 3, 2001, fully started production as of November 2006.

The motivation for the foundation of this new facility was to increase the production capacity as well as to receive the approval of international accreditation organizations in order to make production for foreign markets. Thus in 2009, Sanovel achieved the first of its goals receiving European Union GMP Approval.The new production Site comprises the main production unit, cephalosporin production unit, refining unit, elevated storage and social recreational facility. The production is 200 million boxes per shift.Adopting the notion of quality as its life style since foundation, Sanovel adopted prioritizing medical ethics, aiming perfectionism at production, respecting the environment and people in general, caring customer satisfaction, being innovative and open for change and development, being aware of its corporate and social responsibilities, as its main principle.

One of the top 10 Turkish pharmaceutical companies, Sanovel develops and produces its drugs with the latest technology and keeping strict to WHO's updated standards for 'good production practices' and 'good laboratory practices'.
