About Gabala Football Club Baku
Originally established as Goy Gol in 1995, the club moved location in 2006, becoming Gabala FC.
OVERVIEW
The club plays in the Azerbaijanqi Premier League (Unibank Premier League) and is managed by Fatih Kavlak, the Turkish footballer best known for his coaching roles with Turkish club, Trabzonspor Kulübü and the Azerbaijani team, FK Qarabağ.
Gabala FC's ground, Gabala City Stadium, is currently undergoing extensive redevelopment, transforming the stadium into a world-class football ground and training centre. When complete, the site will incorporate the club stadium, hotel and conferencing facilities, retail and corporate hospitality services and viewing deck.
