In 1999, Caspian Compassion Project ("CCP") was registered by the Azerbaijan Ministry of Justice as a not-for-profit, non-government health organization.CCP operates a health clinic in Masazır, Azerbaijan, 15km outside of the capital city of Baku.Caspian Compassion Project's mission is to provide high-quality medical care to the poor and conflict-impacted people in Azerbaijan, specializing in eye and dental care.Eye services include: corrective surgeries (cataract, glaucoma, crossed-eyes (strabismus), retina repair, and oculoplastics), laser treatment for eye damage from diabetes, non-surgical treatments, and complete eye examinations and refraction.Dental services include: filling cavities, tooth extraction, root canals, and dental education programs for orphanages & schools.
