With support of National Academy of Sciences and international organizations (CRDF, NATO, OSCE, IAEA and UNDP) a high equipped Environmental Physics and Chemistry Center (AZECOLAB) was founded in 2000.In addition to ISO 17025 compliance AZECOLAB’s Management System meets all the requirements of OHSAS 18001and ISO 14001International Standards:

• OHSAS 18001 – Initial Certification: Year 2008 (Det Norske Veritas)
• ISO 14001 – OHSAS 18001 – Initial Certification: Year 2010 (Det Norske Veritas)
• Laboratory’s sampling, field measurement and testing procedures are based on ASTM, EPA, ISO and SM methods.
